In 1947, the technician Adriaan Mostert was as a passionate camper continuously confronted with tent poles of insufficient quality.

The tent poles available in the market were not only inadequately strong, but also too heavy and too bulky. For this reason he started developing a tent pole himself wich was to comply with the high standards of the modern outdoor sportsman. After sustained and thorough research, during which various materials had to undergo intensive tests, the Original MOSTERT tent pole emerged. Thanks to an aluminium alloy especially developed for this purpose, Adriaan Mostert succeeded in reducing the overall weight to a minimum and achieving the optimum strength. Furthermore he invented the ingenious "Nesting system". This system where all the parts fit into each other, reduced the volume up to 80%. European high-quality precision tube made of the alloy 7075 T6. In comparison to other alloys, 7075 T6 is almost ten times less sensitive to corrosion and consequently has got a longer life span. The sophisticated balance between strength and elasticity guarantees the optimum support of your tent. Original MOSTERT dome poles are fully assembled with a strong and elastic shockcord. They are alternatively available with removable endtips or endplugs. They are also made to specification according to your specific requirements and wishes.

The optimal compact solution. Using the very stable Original MOSTERT apex we can design the right A-pole for an optimal support of your tent. The special Inventive form of the apex allows us to precisely adjust the upright poles of every kind of tent to the proper angle.

Of course, the same high-quality Dural tube is used as for the upright poles.

As a result of the fixed angle of the apex, the poles are only available on request. We then need the follow information: height innertent, height outertent, height walls innertent, groundsize outertent.

Original MOSTERT dome poles are also available as a do-it-yourself kit completed by endtips and shockcord. The high-quality parts, made of the alloy 7075 T6 and a standard length of 45 cm, are accompanied by detailed instructions allowing to assemble a perfectly fitting dome pole.
For the size up to 410 cm, we use the Ø 8.5 mm. For the size 410 and longer we use the Ø 11.0 mm.

The use of especially tempered and drawn Dural creates a light tent peg with an optimum strength. Original MOSTERT tent pegs have a closed eye and a sophisticated point for easy use. All sharp edges are removed.

Besides the standard model, the 19 cm and 15 cm are also available in an extra tempered, the "E", design. Almost as strong as the normal model but only half the weight.

A special lightweight aluminium Original MOSTERT peg with is especially designed for hard and rocky surfaces. The rockpin has an extra large head of 16 mm diameter, a sophisticated point for easy use and is made of the extra hard 7075 T9 alloy.

This very stiff, glass fibre reinforced polyamide tent peg, has an excellent temperature resistance to both high and low temperatures. This super tent peg is extremely impact-proof and completely UV-resistant. It can be applied to almost every kind of surface, even a rocky surface. The super tent peg is corrosion-free and easy to clean. Thanks to the special construction, the tent peg can easily be pulled out of the ground.

A half-round stiff Dural tent peg designed for snow and sandy surfaces. The extra wide blade of 40 mm, the thickness of 2 mm and the length of 320 mm guarantee an excellent grip in snow or sand. This peg can be used both vertically and horizontally.

The original is still the best one. Made of an extreme strong and jet light magnesium alloy which makes them suitable for hard and rocky surfaces. Easton tent pegs have a wide head and a cord for easy removal.

The Original MOSTERT windscreens are indispensable for the best possible use of energy during cooking. The windscreen concentrates the heat around the stove and shortens the cooking time. It is made of strong aluminium with a high reflection.
Original MOSTERT windscreens are foldable and can be fixed to the ground.

Original MOSTERT light-weight windbreaks are made of a very special aluminium alloy. This special alloy makes it possible to roll the windbreak firmly on to the pan and stove so there is almost no lost of heat. This shortens the cooking time and reduce the fuel consumption.

Rolled onto a fuel bottle the Original MOSTERT windbreak hardly use any space, it is extremely light and very strong.
